Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Westerner Sam Brockton (Franklyn Farnum) sells his ranch and heads East to check out the big city. It doesn't impress him much until he meets Agnes Darling (Agnes Vernon), an heiress who is out shopping while her parents are visiting a resort. Brockton is seen as an easy mark by a pair of crooks, Olga Veloski (Claire MacDowell) and Howard Dana (Barney Furey). When they find out Sam is invited to visit the Darlings' country home, they send up "Dippy" Lewis, a Brockton look-alike (also played by Farnum) to arrive before Brockton. Dippy wins Agnes and picks several people's pockets before taking off, so when Brockton himself arrives, life is very tough for him. But everybody -- the Darlings, Brockton and the crooks -- wind up back at the Darling's townhouse, and when the police arrive, explanations are in order, Brockton is vindicated and the crooks get their due.
