Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

Two down on their luck actors turn to televangelism as a means of making ends meet in this satirical religious themed comedy. Brian Anderson is down on his luck, and his family has all but given up hope that the struggling actor will make a name for himself on the big screen. Morris Jeffries is Brian's best friend and a fellow actor who is also searching for work. Ditched by his frustrated wife, Morris moves into Brian's apartment until he can raise the money to get back on his feet. Soon, the cable service is shut off and the two bored actors can't even channel surf anymore. But there's a shining light in their sea of static, because despite the decided lack of viewing options Brian and Morris can still tune in the religious channel. Desperate to make a quick buck, Morris concocts a plan for the pair to start a fake religious television program called "The Profits Prayer Network." Though things are slow to get up and running for the PPN, it's not long before the cash is flowing in. Later, at the height of their popularity, Brian and Morris are forced to make a decision that could spell the end of their lucrative scheme.
