In the first episode of a two-part story, the SG-1 team heads to planet P34353J, hoping to form an alliance with the Tok'ra, a Goa'uld resistance movement. The problem is that the Tok'ra can only function by inhabiting human hosts--and no human desires that "honor." Meanwhile, team member Samantha Carter (Amanda Tapping) is torn between duty to her country and devotion to her loved ones when her cancer-ridden father Jacob Carter (Carmen Argenziano) makes a turn for the worse.
