Synopsis by Hal Erickson
After refusing to supply an alien with a controlled substance, Bashir is subjected to a vicious telepathic attack. Upon awakening (or at least appearing to be awake), he finds DS9 deserted and in a state of disrepair, and that he himself is dying of old age. Bashir's only hope for survival is to access different parts of his personality, which manifest themselves in the forms of his fellow crew members. First broadcast April 10, 1995, "Distant Voices" was scripted by Joe Menosky, from a story by Ira Steven Behr and Robert Hewitt Wolfe.
