Released by Vitagraph, this independently produced Lariat Western starred Colorado-born cowboy Pete Morrison and his horse Lightning. Morrison played a cattle rancher chasing a gang of rustlers headed by a woman (Ruth Royce). He is captured, but Lightning gets away and manages to lead a sheriff's posse to the bandit queen's lair. Betty Goodwin played Morrison's love interest and the little Western was scripted by Victor Roberts.
