Synopsis by Janiss Garza

A trio of Bohemian friends live in New York's Greenwich Village -- aspiring artist Hugh Eltinge (Carlyle Blackwell), aspiring novelist Mark Dunbar (Henry Hull) and female reporter Doris Golden (June Elvidge). The two men are, naturally, secretly in love with Doris. Dunbar actually makes it in the literary world, and one day he saves a drowning woman, Ruby Trailes (Muriel Ostriche). He marries her without realizing that she's a shallow gold digger, but soon enough she makes him miserable by running up huge bills and jealously complaining about his friendship with Doris. Hugh determines to get Mark out of his unhappy marriage so he poses as a millionaire. This grabs Ruby's attention immediately and it isn't long before Dunbar finds her in a compromising position with Hugh (who has decided to sacrifice his love for Doris to Mark). After that, a divorce is easily obtained, leaving Mark and Doris together.
