The title of this British sitcom alluded to the fact that its heroine was a hairdresser named Cath (Anita Dobson). Actually, Cath had no trouble with split ends, but she was at her wit's end, forced to choose between two ardent suitors, David (Peter Blake) and Clint (Harry Ditson). In addition to playing the lead role, Anita Dobson also performed the series' theme song. Split Ends was carried by ITV/Granada from June 7 to July 12, 1989, lasting six half-hour episodes.
