Synopsis by Nathan Southern
This episode in the Special Forces group of historical documentaries continues the series' fascination with exploring terrorist-driven crises. Director Joe Wiecha recounts a horrifying event that befell the 80 passengers aboard a Boeing 737, when the craft was suddenly taken hostage by some merciless hijackers. This forced the GSG-9 forces of Germany to devise a crafty and innovative plan for assuming control over the aircraft and its captors once the vehicle landed.
