Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

A middle-aged writer's affair with a troubled teenage girl threatens tragedy for all involved in this psychological thriller based on the novel by Alistair Morgan. John Wraith (Lionel Newton) was a loving husband and father who lost wife and daughter when he fell asleep at the wheel. Subsequently unable to break free of the suffocating guilt that grips him, John travels to the scenic South African coast and rents to secluded chalet on Nature's Cove. Meanwhile a family wrestling with an altogether different kind of trauma rents an adjacent chalet. Having recently lost his wife during a violent home invasion, grieving father Roelf (Deon Lotz) brings his detached son Simon (Luke Tyler) and volatile daughter Jackie (Jay Anstey) to the coast in search of some much-needed tranquility. From the moment Jackie meets John she is mysteriously drawn to him. Despite his best efforts to resist her advances, their relationship quickly turns physical. Later, disarmed by his younger lover, John gradually begins to open up to Jackie about his troubled marriage. But the consequences of their forbidden affair may soon compound their trauma in ways they never could have anticipated.
