Synopsis by Janiss Garza
This tale of love and lumber starred former football hero Maurice B. Flynn, better known as Lefty Flynn. Flynn plays Bill Barlow Jr., the son of a lumber king (William Walling). Bill gets mixed up with a group of tramps and he winds up at one of his father's lumber camps dressed as a hobo. Since he has no way of proving his identity, he has no choice but to go to work as a lumberjack. Pretty Bess Calhoun (Kathleen Myers) is in danger of being killed under a log, but Bill comes to her rescue. Later on, he beats up Blake (Tom Kennedy), the camp's bully. Bill finds out that Bess and her father are about to become victims of a swindler (William Nestell) who is trying to scam their property away. Bess promises to marry him, and he is finally able to prove his identity as Barlow's son.
