Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The British audience-participation show Simply Complicated was based on the old board game "Mouse Trap." Each episode featured two teams, both of whom raced against time to build Rube Golberg-like contraptions. Points and prizes were given for the most complicated method of performing the most simple tasks. Originally telecast by the BBC's over-the-air service in 2000, Simply Complicated moved to the network's BBC Choice digital service the following year.
