Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

Prolific poverty row denizen Leo Maloney both directed and starred in this low-budget oater about a ranch foreman falsely accused of theft. Nathan Holden (Maloney), the foreman of the Lazy-A Ranch, encounters a wounded and disoriented Bob Stone (Hal Walters), the son of his employer (Tom Lingham) and brother of lovely Marjorie Stone (Josephine Hill). Since the boy is wearing a prison uniform, Nathan hides him from the sheriff (Whitehorse). Things gets complicated with the arrival of a stranger, Ramsey (Tom London), who steals $3000 from the rancher and manages to put the blame on Nathan. In reality, Ramsey is the real escaped convict, responsible for hitting Bob over the head and changing clothes with him. Playing the villain, square-jawed Tom London billed himself under his real name, Leonard Clapham.
