Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
In this Indian film, reality and fantasy mix when a traveling group of political street dramatists decide to forego their usual anti-American anti-Vietnam war diatribe and instead enact a tale about infanticide. The woman who plays the infanticidal role has had difficulty supporting her real child, and at some point in the play, she begins to be treated as an actual murderer.
