Synopsis by Nathan Southern
This unusual omnibus film originated with a dream that befell visionary director Mohammad Shirvani. From his dream, Shirvani culled inspiration for a film production workshop, held exclusively for blind women; he then had seven of the women document an extremely personal aspect of her life with a compact digital camera, and compiled the resultant short films into this feature-length package. The results are offbeat, intimate and highly individualistic, and offer unique reflections on the manner in which a camera can act as a sightless individual's instrument of vision.
