Hinduism tells many stories about the lovely Sita, an incarnation of the goddess Lakshmi. In this film, she marries her beloved Rama, a heroic incarnation of Vishnu, after a war which takes place in heaven and on earth against the villainous king Ravana. Those not already familiar with the intricacies of the legends could find the story in this visually stunning film hard to follow.
