Synopsis by Nathan Southern
As produced for the National Geographic Channel, the Secrets of the Cross videos reexamine Christian traditions in a provocative and revisionist light. This particular installment suggests that the Christian teaching of Jesus's resurrection from the dead may be a complete fallacy - based on evidence of a tomb that archaeologists turned up in 1980, filled with bones and inscribed with the names of Jesus and various family members.
