Synopsis by Jeff Gemmill
The story of Chatsworth House in Derbyshire, East Midlands, England, a grand estate that's remained in the Chatsworth and Devonshire family since the 16th century. William Cavendish (1764-1811), the fifth Duke of Devonshire, lived with his wife and mistress there for 20 years; and King Edward VII (1841-1910) enjoyed shooting parties on the property. Tragedy has struck, too: Devonshire heir Billy Cavendish died in World War II four months after marrying John F. Kennedy's sister Kathleen in 1944.
