Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Clearly inspired by the Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan theatrical feature You've Got Mail, the made-for-TV Sealed With a Kiss (aka First Comes Love) stars John Stamos as workaholic Boston businessman Bennett Blake, whose impending marriage to the boss' daughter is imperiled by an unavoidable professional gaffe. While parked in front of his PC, ruminating over his future, Bennett receives an e-mail intended for someone else. Hoping to redirect the message to its source, he makes the acquaintance of Robbie (Annabeth Gish), the attractive curator of a financially strapped Henry Wadsworth Longfellow museum. Fascinated by the freespirited Robbie, Bennett decides to save her museum from going into receivership, and in the process reassesses his own outlook on life -- and love. Sealed With a Kiss first aired September 19, 1999, on CBS.
