Synopsis by Hal Erickson

One of the few SCTV Network episodes without a unifying theme, this episode is simply a collection of hilarious one-shot sketches. Among the highlights: horror stars Dr. Tongue (John Candy) and Woody Tobias Jr. (Eugene Levy) give acting lessons (in 3-D?); and Edith Prickley (Andrea Martin) teaches a girl who acts like a mad dog (played by "Regan Duke Astin" -- aka Catherine O'Hara) how to behave in a spoof of The Miracle Worker. Merv Griffin (Rick Moranis) appears in an Easy Rider-like tribute to the '60s, with such icons of the era as Peter Fonda (Joe Flaherty), Dennis Hopper (Dave Thomas), and Jackie Vernon (John Candy). "Walter Cronkite's Brain" proves that the left side of Cronkite (Dave Thomas) doesn't know what the right side is doing. Monster Chiller Horror Theater presents "Slinky...Toy From Hell." Bob Link (Eugene Levy) hosts another thrilling session of "Steeplechase," courtesy of the House of Lamps. And musical guests Rough Trade make a shambles of the TV variety show "Pre-Teen World."
