Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Madeline (Helene Chadwick) runs away from a convent and becomes a dancer. But when her partner, Jahoda (Cesare Gravina), makes a pass at her, she quits and marries the American Consul, Loton (Lloyd Whitlock). Complications arise when she is at a movie theater and meets the breezy Val Romney (stage actor T. Roy Barnes in his screen debut). She's sitting in front of him in a theater and squirming because her back itches, so Val, who "always does what he wants to do," scratches it for her. After they become friends, Jahoda comes around and tries to blackmail her. Loton is never quite sure what is going on, but Val saves the day by letting the villain have it with his cane. As Val's reward, Madeline scratches his itchy back. This lightweight farce was written by Rupert Hughes for the Goldwyn Studio's "Eminent Authors" series.
