The happily married owner of a small sporting goods store finds his life turned upside down when his wife announces that she is leaving him, and a stealthy art-thief uses him to smuggle a valuable painting. Arthur has always doted on his wife Florence, so when she breaks the news that she's marrying another man, he's crestfallen. After regaining his emotional equilibrium, Arthur decides to attend the wedding in Miami.
