Synopsis by Nathan Southern
Roseanne Barr: Blonde and Bitchin' originally aired exclusively on HBO but is now available in this home-video release. In Barr's first comedy special in over 14 years, the sitcom mainstay, movie star, and acid-mouthed comedienne-at-large returns to her standup act -- the venue that originally launched her into superstardom in the early '80s -- before a jam-packed, enthusiastic audience. In the process, Barr hilariously touches on a myriad of controversial topics. From the Oval Office doings of George W. Bush to the hot-button issue of gay marriage, nothing is off-topic or too sensitive.
