Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka

As the hard-working Ah Tan (Mai Te-lo) is bicycling down a busy Hong Kong street one day, he gets into an altercation with a drippingly wealthy entrepreneur riding along in his Rolls Royce. After they part in a barely controlled rage, Ah Tan is swept up in a series of events that give him and three of his friends the opportunity to sabotage the rich man's Rolls, making him look like an idiot. Instead of the expected results, the rich man, Tsui Tung-cheng (Chen Kuan-tai), challenges them with a bet. If Ah Tan and his friends can successfully steal the Rolls, they can keep it, and if they cannot, they owe Tsui $50,000. From that point onward, the clever stunts of the would-be car thieves are matched by the wily tycoon, and both Tsui in his Rolls Royce and Ah Tan on his bicycle engage in some wild races through downtown Hong Kong. As the film races to its own finish line, unresolved issues loom large - indicating that a sequel must surely be rounding the corner.
