In this musically oriented magazine series, the hosts endeavored to "explore, reveal, and explain the people, music, and phenomena that inhabit the world of rock." Sample episodes found the members of a band paying a group visit to a therapist, a steady succession of hoodwinked job hunters interviewing for the position of personal assistant to a wholly fictitious singer, and an art dealer who catered exclusively to singers and musicians. Though there was no set host, virtually the entire talent roster of VH1 appeared as correspondents. Rock Candy debuted March 8, 1999, lasting approximately six weeks.
