Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The "Ring of Steel" is a bizarre nightclub where nightly gladiatorial contests are held. The patrons are the rich and decadent, people who have become bored with the usual sports lineup and have developed a taste for blood. An Olympic fencer, banned from the sport after accidentally killing a man, is entreated with wine, women and song into participating in the nightly combat. Once he discovers that there's something truly sinister afoot, it's too late for him to back out -- especially since his girlfriend is being held as an "insurance policy." Joe Don Baker, Carol Alt and Robert Chapin star in this R-rated bonecruncher.
