synopsis
Michael Helmrath leads the Munich Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra for this program of compositions by Richard Strauss. French horn soloist Marie-Luise Neunecker performs on Concerto for Horn and Orchestra No. 1, E flat major, Op. 11, while Romance for Clarinet and Orchestra, E flat major features an appearance by Sabine Meyer on clarinet. The orchestra also performs Capriccio: Introduction for String Sextet and Der Burger als Edelmann, Orchestra Suite Op. 60 (Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme Suite).
