The basic distinction of Revenge of the Iron-Fist Maiden is implicit in its title. Rather than a male martial arts expert in the lead, the protagonist is a female. Otherwise it's the same old same old. The plot is motivated by the murder of the leading character's father. Revenge is exacted in as loud and as messy a manner as possible. Judging by the number of times that it was run on the USA Cable Network, Revenge of the Iron-Fist Maiden must have struck a very responsive chord with American televiewers.
