Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Return to the High Country is a "four-waller" film aimed at a quick turnover on the family-matinee circuit. Mark Naylor stars as a young frontier boy left alone when his grandfather dies. Partly out of grief, and partly out of a desire to find a newer, happier place to live, the boy rides into the wilderness with his pet horse. The rest of the film is essentially a travelogue, occasionally interrupted by cliffhanger-like thrills. Also featured in the location-filmed Return to the High Country are Jim Barden, Boyd Stockman and Drake Michaels.
