See the ultimate in car crushing action in this televised monster truck competition. Back in 1986, when Monster Trucks were just getting big in America, the organizers of Return of the Monster Trucks decided to pit some of the most well-known trucks and their drivers against each other for the first time ever in heated head-to-head competition. Up until this point, competitions were usually between two trucks at promotional events, but this time, there were almost a dozen competing for the title of most awesome monster truck. Headed by the infamous Bigfoot, the trucks range from an outrageous suped-up '70s van (Rollin' Thunder) to even a customized Corvette (Monster Vette). The various tracks include an obstacle course of sorts and some incredible footage of racing in over eight-foot deep water. Also included on the program are interviews with the drivers and even skits such as Awesome Kong's hilarious dream sequence where it foils a robbery and crushes a motor home! Add in some priceless footage of clowns waterskiing and guys in bear suits zooming around in mini-monster trucks and you've got grade "A" monster truck action in the privacy of your own home.
