Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
Reefer (Ian McElhinney) is a former IRA thug who tries to leave his violent past behind him and takes a job on a fishing boat. He helps Teresa, aka The Model (Carol Scanlan) when he gives the pregnant hitchhiker a ride in his car. Teresa is running away from her own violent world of drugs and prostitution, but Reefer soon believes she has ties to the IRA. Eve Watkins plays Reefer's mother, whose love for her son is not enough to make her forgive him for abandoning the cause of Irish independence.
