synopsis
A true story of hope, inspiration, and commitment to the creatures of planet Earth, Lucinda Spurling's documentary tells the remarkable story of a species of bird believed to be extinct for 300 years until it was discovered on Bermuda with the help of a fifteen year old boy. David Wingate was just a teenager when he helped to find the Cahow bird, and though very much alive the species was now being threatened by invasive predators and manmade developments. When global warming poses the ultimate threat to the Cahow bird, David and his successor Jeremy Madeiros race against time to save the resilient creature from disappearing forever.
