Synopsis by Mark Deming

A man of wealth and privilege happens to have a deadly secret in this stylish thriller from Spain. Ramirez (Cristian Magaloni) is a handsome man in his mid-twenties who comes from a wealthy family, looks after his elderly and ailing mother and supports himself comfortably as a cocaine dealer. While Ramirez may live on the wrong side of the law, he also seems to lead an elegant and well-ordered life except for one of his pastimes: Ramirez is a serial killer. In the evenings, Ramirez pursues beautiful women, and after luring them back to his home, he murders them in grisly but creative ways, documenting the results with his camera. What drives Ramirez to kill and kill again? And will his collection of evidence against himself come back to haunt him? Also starring Geraldine Chaplin, Zoe Barriatua and Sara Martin, Ramirez earned director Albert Arizza the Best Director prize at the 2009 Malaga Spanish Film Festival.
