The follies of youth are eventually overcome in this interesting love story by Finnish director Maunu Kurkvaara. Young artist Jaska (Jaakko Pakkasvirta) and secretary Sini (Sinikka Hannula) have a romantic attachment to each other, but Jaska is not for any serious commitments because he wants to keep his "freedom." Meanwhile, Sini goes along with him when he takes her to some dubious parties and she puts up with his flirtations with other women. When she gets pregnant, Jaska begins to change and starts to realize that he is more in love than he was willing to admit. But the going is not smooth in any relationship, and for awhile the future of the young couple looks problematical.
