Synopsis by Laura Mahnken

Take a step back in time and visit the glamour and elegance of 1920s English high society on a very small scale. Queen Mary's Dolls' House presents a remarkable dollhouse unlike any other. Designed by Sir Edwin Lutgens, a famed architect, the house was given to Queen Mary in 1924 as a gift and is decorated with only the best furnishings available at that time. England's most sophisticated companies, including Wedgwood and Dalton produced their popular wares at 1/12 their original size. This amazing dollhouse also has a working elevator and phonograph that plays its own records as well as minute books of poetry lining the library shelves. This is one house tour you will not soon forget.
