Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
Two policeman who oppose the new communist regime are put on trial after they kill a resistance member during the Nazi occupation. A local communist chief is killed, and the villagers rally to defeat a group of non-Marxists. The chief's young protégé is suspected of leading him to his death because the dead man had married the girl he loved. The use of flashbacks is more confusing that illuminating in this post World War II courtroom drama.
