Synopsis by Robert Firsching
Wu Ma directed this fairly traditional Hong Kong fantasy which borrows much of its plotting and ambience from the successful A Chinese Ghost Story (1987) and its sequels. Joey Wang (a.k.a. Wang Tsu Hsien) plays a beautiful female ghost who becomes the object of a shy martial arts expert's affections in ancient China. Yuen Biao co-stars in this standard genre entry with little to distinguish it from numerous competitors (some also featuring Wang).
