Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Emily Delmar (Ann Murdock) is constantly getting herself in trouble. Although she has several suitors, Richard Trotter (Rex McDougal) is the best at getting her out of her scrapes, while Herbert Threadgold (Ferdinand Gottschalk) generally makes a pest out of himself. On the night that Emily is supposed to give Threadgold an answer to his marriage proposal, she goes out dancing and forgets all about him. In fact, she stays out so late, she's afraid to go home and winds up at Trotter's, asleep in his bed while he's still at the club. When Trotter comes home, she asks him to take her to her Aunt Geraldine's so she has an alibi. Meanwhile, she has been reported missing. On the way to the aunt's, Trotter and Emily stop at a hotel for lunch. So do Threadgold, Emily's cousin, Aunt Geraldine, and the police, who are ready to arrest somebody, anybody for kidnapping Emily. Finally things get cleared up and Trotter ends up marrying the scatterbrained Emily.
