With a film noir look and feel, this drama by Pauli Pentti tracks the undercover career of Mack (Pekka Valkeejarvi), a dour, footloose wanderer obviously down on his luck. An important police lieutenant pays Mack to keep an eye on his estranged wife, whom he suspects is having an affair. The lieutenant wants Mack to record any infidelities on film and bring the evidence back to him for use in his divorce trial. Mack begins his investigation by discovering the wife, a nightclub singer, appears to be in some sort of liaison with a hotel owner. But to his surprise, appearances can be quite deceiving.
