It remains unclear exactly how Newsreel got a hold of this amazing footage taken in 1968 in Vietnam. The film records the mobilization of the Vietnamese people in their fight against colonialism. There are a number of interesting interviews and fairly perceptive voice-over which helps narrate the events transpiring on screen. People's War is a fairly unique look at the other side of the Vietnam conflict.
