Synopsis by Janiss Garza

This May Allison comedy was based on a story by Royal Brown that appeared in Red Book magazine. May's character, Peggy, is an incurable tomboy. She runs around with her brother Bob (Dick Rosson) and is studying a correspondence course on becoming a detective. Nobody in her family -- especially her feminine, boy-crazy sister, Eleanor -- takes her seriously. An Englishman, the Honorable Hugh Wentworth (Robert Ellis), brings a very precious stone to Peggy's father, who is an expert on jewels. Eleanor wants him, but he is fascinated with Peggy. Peggy insists on using what she has learned to protect the jewel, but her father hires a real detective who disguises himself as a butler. It is Peggy, though, who foils crook "Lonesome Larry" Doyle (Augustus Phillips) when he comes to steal the stone. After that, she steals Hugh's heart for good.
