In the spring of 2002, in celebration of the Golden Jubilee held to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's ascension to the throne, Buckingham Palace and the Royal Family did something unprecedented. The doors of the palace were opened for a special rock & roll concert, with 12,000 specially invited fans enjoying performances by some of the biggest names in popular music. Party at the Palace captures the fun and excitement of this special event, including appearances by Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, Brian Wilson, Rod Stewart, Elton John, Tom Jones, and many more.
