This Mutual drama, based on a story by Rex Beach, was standard feature fare for the late 1910s. While working on a railroad project, Justus Morrow (Richard Tucker) falls in love with Olive Troop (Charlotte Walker), who is teacher to the workers' children. A rival railroad hires Alonzo Struthers (Leo Gordon) to keep Morrow from completing his assignment. Struthers works on a number of levels: he befriends Morrow while turning his rich uncle against him, and later blows up Morrow's work. He convinces Olive -- who has married Morrow -- that her husband has been untrue while he was up in Alaska at a gold camp. Morrow's uncle disinherits him and Olive's faith in the marriage is shattered. But then Joyce, Morrow's friend and partner from his mining endeavors, comes home and puts everything right. Joyce sends Struthers packing and helps Morrow and Olive to reconcile.
