Out of Time on AllMovie

Not to be confused with the 2003 thriller of the same name starring Denzel Washington, this Out of Time is the second feature from indie director Michael Thomas Dunn. Starring Greg Mackie, who also headed up the cast of Dunn's first film, Midnight Conflict (1998), this comedy attempts to blend the stylings of a classic Buster Keaton silent film with a contemporary 1990s setting. Mackie plays Barry Velasco, an accident-prone college student who, despite his best efforts, can't seem to avoid getting into slapstick predicaments. Dunn himself makes an uncredited appearance as a janitor in the film.
