Os Verdes Anos on AllMovie

In this film, a shoemaker in Lisbon is joined by his 18-year-old nephew who is willing to learn the trade. He falls in love with a 19-year-old woman and later proposes marriage. When she refuses his offer because of their difference in social class, the young man becomes mentally unglued.
