This CG-animated short finds the beauty and love that hides in the darkest, dirtiest, and most unlikely places. With no dialogue, just a simple, haunting score, the story follows an alley-dwelling city rat who falls through a skylight into an animal-testing laboratory, where he finds a beautiful white lab rat who's being carried off by a machine to be experimented on. A brief glimpse into each other's eyes forms an instant connection between the two, but as soon as they each feel the first pangs of love, she's whisked further into the depths of the lab, toward a painful and uncertain future. The city rat sets off on an adventure to save his love, but in this poignant story about the glimmer of tenderness in a harsh world, the white rat's fate may be out of reach.
