Synopsis by Hal Erickson

No relation to the later Sonja Henie vehicle of the same name, 1935's One in a Million is another little chestnut from low-budget Invincible Pictures. Shopgirl Dorothy Brooks (Dorothy Wilson) becomes convinced that she's accidentally killed her overly amorous boss. Hiding out from the law, Dorothy heads to a fancy resort, where she falls in love with department-store heir Donald Cabot (Charles Starrett). Imagine her embarrassment when Donald turns out to be the son of her supposed murder victim! Our poor heroine is accused of stealing from the other resort guests before Donald finally gets to the truth -- and, of course, produces his father (Holmes Herbert), who is none the worse for wear. Former MGM soubrette Gwen Lee goes through her characteristic comic paces in a supporting role, as does the burly Guinn "Big Boy" Williams.
