Nos Maitres les Domestiques (Our Masters the Servants) is the French-language version of the British farce Lord Richard in the Pantry. Henri Garat takes over from Richard Cooper in the role of Lord Richard, here rechristened "Marquis Richard D'Argental." Having squandered his family fortune, our hero is forced to sell his ancestral mansion to attractive widow Sylvie Maurel (Diana). When he's framed for a crime he didn't commit, Richard hides out in his old house, posing as one of the servants. Just as he did in the English-language version, Richard eventually falls in love with Sylvie.
