Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
A Polish doctor escaping from a round-up of Jews finds refuge on a farm and helps to save the life of one member of the farming family. As a result, they try to protect her, but because the young man in the family drinks too much one evening, he lets slip about the Jewish doctor they are harboring and the Polish collaborators come to look for her. They are counterattacked by partisan fighters, who show up at the right time, just as the doctor considers the possibility she might be sent to the death camps after all. This first film from Juliusz Janicki is a standard debut attempt at drama.
