synopsis
The main difference between this episode and the previous 3 "Karate Kid" flicks is that this time the protagonist is a girl. This time the venerable Miagi takes 17-year old Julie, a tough, recently orphaned young girl now living with her grandmother, under his wing after he observes her exceptional reflexes in an almost accident. This time the lessons teach Miagi that girls and boys are different. Julie, because she is chronically angry is doubly difficult. Still she learns from the master. She gets to demonstrate her new skills during her high school prom.
