Synopsis by Perry Seibert

Hal Hartley's Ned Rifle concludes a trilogy that started with Henry Fool and continued with Fay Grim. In this installment, Ned (Liam Aiken), the son of Henry (Thomas Jay Ryan), becomes obsessed with killing his father for the way the man treated Ned's mother, Fay (Parker Posey). However, his quest is derailed by the quirky, fiercely independent Susan (Aubrey Plaza), who turns out to know more about Henry than Ned could possibly expect. Martin Donovan and James Urbaniak co-star. Ned Rifle screened at the 2015 SXSW Film Festival.
